An iconic form. Sculptural in proportion. The Snap, after a thousand passes.
Snap began as a fiberglass study and arrived a decade later as one of our most-asked-for silhouettes. A note on what changed in the lacquer, and why we still mix every batch by hand.

The Snap arrived in the studio as a study in scale. A fiberglass shell, hand-laid in Rochester, would carry the weight; a high-gloss lacquer would hold the proportion's edges in light.
What changed over a decade was the lacquer. The finishing room kept seven house tones in rotation, and we kept refining each one. Three coats. Hand-rubbed. Bar-grade. The differences are subtle when you read about them and obvious when you hold a swatch in your own light.
Order a swatch first. It is harder than it sounds to imagine high-gloss in a room until you have held it.
